The ancient Greeks had two words for time—Chronos and Kairos. A sequence of moments was expressed as chronos, and it emphasized the duration of the time. On the other hand, Kairos meant “opportunity,” “season,” or “fitting time.” An appointed time was expressed as Kairos, with no regard for the actual length of the time. Thus, chronos was more linear and quantitative, while kairos was more nonlinear and qualitative.

Just as "There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under heaven," vũv Watches believes that there is a watch style and color for every occasion.
